RUUBY - WHEREVER, WHENEVER

Overview

“Wherever, Whenever” is a creative campaign for the beauty app Ruuby, exploring how modern working women can incorporate moments of luxury and self-care into fast-paced daily routines.

The campaign positions self-care not as an occasional indulgence, but as an essential ritual that can exist alongside ambition, productivity and busy city living.

Through a series of four films shot across high-traffic London locations, the work disrupts everyday environments with unexpected moments of beauty treatment, creating visually striking and memorable scenes designed to capture attention in social feeds.

 

Insight

Time is often the biggest barrier to self-care. Many professional women feel forced to choose between looking after themselves and keeping up with demanding schedules.

Ruuby’s at-home and on-demand beauty services offer a solution - enabling users to integrate treatments seamlessly into their day.

The campaign highlights this flexibility by placing treatments directly into moments of urban urgency.

Each scenario was designed to feel bold, slightly surreal and scroll-stopping while remaining rooted in relatable experiences of modern working life. Authentic real-time reactions from members of the public were captured on camera, reinforcing the disruptive quality of the visuals and adding an element of documentary realism.

The tone balances humour with aspiration - playful but purposeful.
